Romans 10:10-18
“For one believes with the heart and so is justified, and one confesses with the mouth and so is saved.”
Christ’s arrival on earth was simple, no lavish reveal parties and no pictures were taken; just a baby in a manger and a mother who completely trusted God.
Romans 10 beautifully explains the simplicity of giving your life to Christ. Verse 10 says: “It is with your heart you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth you confess and are saved.” Paul teaches us that it is not a complicated process. The next step is to trust Him. Trust Him wholeheartedly when you are on the mountaintop, trust Him when you are battling hard patches in your life, trust Him when the journey is a struggle. The Word promises He will never leave you. He will never fail to provide righteousness to all who believe and TRUST in Him!
Once you commit your life to Christ, He wants you to proclaim your joy, and verse 14 calls us to “Make The Love Of Christ Known” and to share the gospel! Verse 15 declares: “How beautiful are the feet of those who bring good news.”
I pray for you this Advent season to slow down and simply let His love encompass your heart. Trust in Him and share the good news as YOU “Make The Love Of Christ Known!”
Peace in Christ!
