What we believe

This is the Christ's Church
There is a place for you here.

We are the church that shares a living, daring confidence in God's grace. Liberated by our faith, we embrace you as a whole person -- questions, complexities and all. Join us as we do God's work in Christ's name for the life of the world.

Who We Are

We are real people—created in love to live in union with Jesus Christ and one another by the power of the Holy Spirit.  God frees us from the power of sin and death to live, love, and serve freely.
By God’s grace, we generously live in this community of faith in service to others, amid the mysteries and complexities of life – including our human limitations, failings, ambiguities, uncertainties, struggles, and suffering.

What We Do

We are sent. We are God’s hands and God’s feet in the world. We actively seek the lost, broken, confused, isolated, vulnerable, and displaced, not just with the Word of God, but with the very presence of Christ. We are sent to tear down walls of judgment, hatred, prejudice, and violence.  We yearn for the oneness we believe God intends for the church and all people.

WE ARE LUTHERan

We are a church that walks by faith, trusting God’s promise in the gospel and knowing that we exist by and for the proclamation of this gospel word. We proclaim Jesus Christ crucified and raised from the dead for the life of the world.
We understand to be Lutheran is to be ecumenical – committed to the oneness to which God calls the world in the saving gift of Jesus Christ, recognizing the brokenness of the church in history and the call of God to heal this disunity.

Claimed in the waters of baptism, I am a child of God.  I love God and I love the people of God.  My passion is to shepherd people into relationships of love with our Savior, Jesus Christ.
