Adults at St. John are active in learning and serving in ministry – both inside our church and beyond our walls. Our ministries provide opportunities for people of all ages – new Christians to lifelong Christians – to connect with each other as they connect to Christ. If you are interested in connecting in any of these ministries, contact Andrea Kuehne, Church Administrator.

.: Adult Education :.
Loving and serving God is a journey and we try to provide opportunities for adults to develop their relationship with God and each other through small groups and classes with a variety of topics.

.: St. John Builders :.
The St. John Builders is a group who assist people with construction/maintenance needs.  Activities vary according to the project but can involve carpentry, plumbing, electrical, ramp-building, general labor or house building (modeled after Habitat for Humanity).  The St. John Builders have an Ice Cream Social each summer to raise money for their projects.

For up-to-date information on our projects, follow us on Facebook!

.: Women’s Ministry :.
The St. John Women’s Ministry has many ways for women to connect with each other through monthly Bible Study, Fellowship events, Retreats and Service Projects.

.: Social Concerns :.
The Social Concerns Team organizes ways to share with God’s people who are in need and to show hospitality.  Activities include:  Monthly food drive, school supply drive, Souper Bowl Sunday and MealNet.  They also coordinate sponsorships between our members and boys at Wernle Treatment Center in Richmond, Indiana and host an annual picnic for them.

.: Music :.
St. John has many opportunities for people to share their musical gifts.  Our Handbell Choir practices on Wednesdays from 6:30-7:30pm and perform at a worship service once a month (September – April).  Our Contemporary Praise Team leads music at our 9:15 Sunday worship service and practices on Wednesday evenings.

.: Visitation & Prayer Chain :.
The St. John Lay Visitation Team is made up of people who are committed to those who aren’t able to come to church because of illness or circumstances.  They visit those in nursing homes and provide communion, prayer and connection to the church.  Others deliver flowers from our worship services.  Our Prayer Chain is a team of people who spend time each day in prayer for needs of those in our church, our community or the world.

.: Worship :.
Each week, people of St. John serve a variety of roles to help the worship services run smoothly so people can experience the power of God through worshipping.  We have teams who set up and serve communion, greet people, run audio and video, read the Scriptures and more.

In addition to these ministries, St. John has many more opportunities for people to connect to each other while serving God – Maker’s Dozen, Council, Office Assistants, Children’s and Youth Ministry, Property and more!  If you are interested in more information, contact Andrea Kuehne, Church Administrator.
